Accessibility statement

Lagermax Lagerhaus und Speditions AG strives to make its website and mobile application accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility ActWZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended.

This accessibility statement applies to www.lagermax.com and mobile applications.

Due to the following incompatibilities, this website is partially compliant with the AA level of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

A detailed analysis and accessible revision of the website is in preparation and will be implemented step by step in the coming months.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Incompatibility with accessibility requirements

When sharing content from our website, images embedded via meta data may not be accompanied by alternative text. Not all videos have a text alternative. We plan to address this requirement in the next development cycles.

b) Disproportionate burden

Providing audio descriptions for all videos on our website currently represents a disproportionate burden. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met.

Our website contains a large number of images that are regularly updated, replaced, or supplemented as part of our editorial and design standards. Due to the high volume of image material, especially in reference projects, product presentations, and inspirational content, it is currently not possible to provide all images published before June 27, 2025, with comprehensive alternative text. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not met. We believe that completely reworking this content would constitute an unreasonable burden in terms of accessibility regulations. For new content published on or after June 27, 2025, we aim to implement accessibility measures, including meaningful alternative text.

c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions

Most older PDF documents are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, meaning that they cannot be accessed or only to a limited extent by screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not met. Please let us know if you have any problems with specific documents. We will make the content accessible on request and replace the documents or add accessible alternatives. We endeavor to make new documents accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA before publication.

Preparation of the accessibility statement

The statement was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment carried out by Lagermax on June 16, 2025. The assessment of the website's compliance with the WZG for the implementation of the requirements of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 was carried out in the form of a self-test in accordance with WCAG 2.1 at conformity level AA and on the basis of an assessment carried out by a third party. Individual page content is regularly checked by the web editorial team when new content is published. Enforcement procedure

If you are not satisfied with the response received from the above contact, you can lodge a complaint with the complaints office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office contact form.

The FFG will examine the complaints to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.

If the complaint is justified, the FFG must issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
