Containers for hazardous materials used to transport lithium-ion batteries

LogBATT GmbH, the battery logistics company of the Lagermax Group, develops and manufactures the hazardous materials containers in the SafetyBATTbox product family in-house. The containers are approved in accordance with ADR packaging instructions P911 and LP906 and are therefore also suitable for critically defective lithium-ion batteries—the highest level of requirements under hazardous materials regulations.

Type approval and test certification for LogBATT transport containers.

LogBATT’s transport containers for lithium batteries meet the requirements of the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in accordance with ADR, as well as the specifications of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). These requirements are based on more than 40 real-world fire tests conducted with lithium-ion batteries.

LogBATT GmbH holds a procedure specification in accordance with P911 / LP906.
