Lagermax Sea Freight uses reliable container ship lines in combination with a first-class global partner network – this guarantees ideal transport solutions on international sea routes.
Lagermax shipping organizes regular export and import consolidated shipments at Europe’s major ports – weekly direct consolidated containers to North and South America, Israel, the Middle East and Asia as well as arrival of direct consolidated shipments via Hamburg and Koper from all main economic centres in Southeast Asia.
For global FCL (Full-Container Load) shipments, Lagermax uses international cooperation agreements with renowned partners. The Lagermax Sea Freight division also has excellent “access” to terminal services in all container depots in Austria.
The Incoterms – International Commercial Terms – were revised by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The current version of the Incoterms® 2020 entered into force on 1 January 2020 and contain some adjustments and modifications.
Overview of the main changes
On 1 July 2016 VGM – VERIFIED GROSS MASS – was introduced. Consequently, shipping lines must receive timely confirmation of the gross mass of containers from the shippers before their loading on board a ship.
There are two methods to determine the VGM:
1) weighing
2) calculation: for this, please use the link, for one-time registration.
To prevent any problems or delays with your shipment, we refer to the provisions of the BMVIT – Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie).
We kindly ask our foreign customers to contact their local authorities.
