Arad/Salzburg, 25. September 2025. Die Lagermax Logistics Romania s.r.l. hat ihr neues, modernes Logistikzentrum im rumänischen Arad offiziell in Betrieb genommen.

The new terminal, with approximately 23,000 m² of covered warehouse space and an additional 600 m² of modern office space, marks an important milestone in the expansion of the logistics network in Southeast Europe and lays the foundation for tapping into future market potential even more efficiently.

Comprehensive logistics services for various industries

“With the newly constructed logistics center, we cover a broad spectrum of transportation and services. This ranges from receiving and processing products from the automotive industry, through comprehensive warehousing services and order fulfillment, to national and international distribution to dealers and end customers,” says Sorin Luchescu, Managing Director of Lagermax Logistics Romania, expressing his delight at the successful new construction. In both the B2B and B2C sectors, customers benefit from a complete range of logistics solutions featuring international coverage, digital integration, and a direct connection to the European Lagermax network.

Arad as a strategic location with further future potential

Arad is one of Romania’s most important economic regions. With direct access to the A1 highway, the location offers ideal conditions for serving the rapidly growing Romanian market even more efficiently and further strengthening Lagermax Logistics Romania’s market position. Lagermax has maintained its own branch in Arad since 2009. Additional locations are in the capital, Bucharest, and at Bucharest-Otopeni Airport.

The terminal was certified according to the internationally recognized BREEAM standard and received an “Excellent” rating.
