Investments significantly increased to a total of EUR 75 million ++ Total turnover remained at the previous year’s level at EUR 760 million ++ Number of employees stable at 4,050 ++
Salzburg, April 22, 2026. The Lagermax Group generated total revenue of EUR 760 million EUR in the 2025 financial year. Revenue thus remained stable compared with the previous year. This enabled Lagermax to maintain its strong market position. Despite global challenges and persistently volatile markets in a demanding economic environment, the Executive Boards members, Alexander Friesz and Thomas Baumgartner consider the result to be generally satisfactory in view of the international economic situation.
“Despite a slight decline, the overall result underscores the stability of our broad-based, diversified business areas and the commitment of all our employees. We will continue to invest strategically in innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth,” agree Friesz and Baumgartner, who are determined to continue along the path they have chosen.
Investment volume was significantly expanded in 2025
The total investment volume within the Lagermax Group amounted to EUR 75 million in the past business year. This represents an increase of just over 65 percent compared with the previous year (2024: EUR 49 million).
In Arad, Romania, the expansion of the logistics terminal, adding 23,000 sqm of covered warehouse space, was completed as scheduled at the end of 2025 in accordance with BREEAM certification standards. With the commissioning of the expanded capacities, Lagermax Logistics Romania has significantly enhanced its operational performance and successfully acquired additional new customers. As a result, the site has developed into a key strategic asset within Lagermax’s international network in Southeastern Europe. The management expresses its strong satisfaction with this development, particularly regarding the rapid achievement of high-capacity utilization and emphasizes the growing importance of the location within the national network in Romania—where substantial warehouse capacities are also operated in Bucharest—as well as within the group’s international network.
In Premstätten, Styria, the new freight forwarding and logistics terminal built by Lagermax Logistics Austria GmbH also came into operation as planned at the end of 2025. The new site is already operating at full capacity, which demonstrates the successful implementation of the location strategy and the high demand for the logistics services provided. The terminal, which features an integrated lithium battery storage facility, was also constructed using sustainable building methods and has been awarded BREEAM certification.
In 2025, Lagermax Autotransport located in Straßwalchen took the next step towards sustainable mobility and energy supply. Covering an area of 9,000 square metres, the first ‘SUNPARK’ was built – a modern photovoltaic plant which, in combination with 200 electric charging points, has sufficient capacity to ‘recharge’ around 400 vehicles.
Last year, two automotive centres of excellence were opened in Straßwalchen and Vienna under the “myLagermax” brand. In addition to repair and maintenance services, the range of services includes additional services such as tyre fitting and tyre storage for private customers. This has significantly expanded the B2C segment within the automotive sector.
The two-wheel logistics provider LVTmoto, a company within the Lagermax Group, has expanded its network of sites in Spain and relocated its operations to Caldes de Montbui, near Barcelona. The terminal, covering an area of 16,000 sqm is tailored to the requirements of the motorcycle and two-wheel logistics sector. Due to its infrastructure and strategically favourable location, Caldes de Montbui serves as a logistics hub between the Mediterranean region and Central Europe. LVTmoto is thus strengthening its presence within the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. With this investment, LVTmoto is reaffirming its growth strategy while signalling the consistent expansion of its Europe-wide activities in two-wheeler logistics.
Number of employees at international level remained largely stable
Despite the economic challenges, the Lagermax Group has been able to maintain its workforce with almost 4,050 employees. The ongoing professional development and training of staff underlines the company’s commitment in the future to providing reliable transport and logistics services of a consistently high standard and meeting the ever-increasing expectations of the market.
