Vienna, Salzburg, June 20, 2024 - Lagermax Lagerhaus und Speditions AG was awarded the prestigious silver award in the Transport and Logistics category of the Export Prize 2024 for its outstanding achievements in international value creation. The prize was awarded by AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO) at the "Exporters' Nite" in the Vienna Hofburg. The trophy was presented by Minister of Labor and Economic Affairs Martin Kocher and Austrian Federal Economic Chamber President Harald Mahrer.

Diversified service portfolio guarantees success

For the Lagermax Group, the award is both recognition and an incentive to continue providing customized transport and logistics services for customers and partners. During the award ceremony, CEO Alexander Friesz emphasized: "Our success is based on the fact that we have diversified our portfolio and provide customers with a diverse range of services - and I believe that we have been able to do this quite well in our company for over 100 years. A high export share is fundamentally important for Lagermax. But it wouldn't be possible without our employees." The Lagermax Group achieved an export ratio of 70 percent in 2023 and increased its turnover by 80 million euros last year to a total turnover of 730 million euros. The company employs 4,000 people internationally.

The Export Award puts the best of the best in the spotlight year after year. A top-class jury from business, politics and the media honors companies for their export successes. This is the idea behind the prestigious prize, which was awarded for the 30th time this year.
