Salzburg, September 11, 2026. Paul Hezoucky is completing an apprenticeship as a freight forwarding logistics specialist at Lagermax Logistics Austria GmbH in Salzburg and has been named “Apprentice of the month for September.”
“For Paul Hezouky, freight forwarding and logistics are more than just a job – they are his passion,” emphasizes Mag. Susanne Traunfellner, apprentice coordinator at Lagermax, adding: “He completed his apprenticeship as a freight forwarding specialist with honors. Immediately afterward, he started a second apprenticeship and is already taking on his next challenge with a dual apprenticeship as a freight forwarding logistics specialist.” With his dedication, team spirit, and positive attitude, Paul Hezouky embodies the values of the Lagermax Group and is an outstanding example of the high quality of apprenticeship training at Lagermax.
Real-world learning
For Paul, choosing an apprenticeship was a conscious decision. “I wanted to start working and earning my own money, and vocational school is unlike any other school. There, you learn exactly what you really need in your day-to-day work,” Paul says with a wink.
Engagement as the key to success
Throughout his continued training, Paul particularly appreciates the great trust that the company placed in him right from the start. Thanks to his dedication, reliability, and keen interest in freight forwarding processes, he was able to take on challenging tasks even during his initial apprenticeship and felt not just like an apprentice, but like a full-fledged employee from the very beginning — an experience that further reinforced his decision to pursue a career at Lagermax.
The “Apprentice of the Month” award is also a special honor and a source of great joy for Lagermax Logistics. It underscores the importance of dedicated and motivated young professionals who are shaping their professional futures with enthusiasm and commitment. Paul Hezoucky impressively demonstrates the valuable contribution young talents contribute to the continued development and future of the logistics industry.
With this award, the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce (WKS) and the federal state of Salzburg honor dedicated young professionals who have distinguished themselves during their training through their professional achievements, dedication, and personal motivation.
