Lagermax Group and Port of Vienna sign multi-year framework contract for vehicle logistics

Strategic agreement secures important storage space and underscores the importance of the location as a central automotive hub in eastern Austria.

Vienna, September 3, 2025. Lagermax Autotransport GmbH, a leading company in international vehicle logistics, and Port of Vienna, a Wien Holding company, have recently signed a multi-year framework agreement for the use of storage and transshipment areas. This agreement not only consolidates a decades-long successful partnership, but also secures crucial capacities for the storage and distribution of new and used vehicles at the strategically important logistics hub in Vienna.

The Port of Vienna has been a central location for the Automotive Logistics Division of the Lagermax Group for many years. The agreement that has now been signed covers the use of dedicated space for the storage and handling of vehicles. With its excellent trimodal connections to road, rail, and waterways, the Port of Vienna offers ideal conditions for efficient and sustainable logistics concepts.
